Bhubaneswar: Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) leaders on Monday met Chief Minister and party supremo Naveen Patnaik at his residence in the capital city to learn about strategies to woo the electorate, especially the over seven lakh first-time voters, in the upcoming general elections in Odisha.
BJD organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das and 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian were also present during the meeting with the student leaders.
During the meeting, the student leaders received tips and suggestions on wooing the electorate using social media platforms. They were told about the importance of social media in reaching out to the people, especially first-time voters.
On Sunday, the BCJD leaders held a meeting at the Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and they informed the party president about the deliberations.
The student leaders were given tips on the party’s strategy during the upcoming elections, counter any propaganda against the party on social media platforms, and highlight the achievements of the Naveen Patnaik government before the electorate.
