Bargarh: Biju Janta Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik arrived at Laumunda Stadium Helipad of Bargarh district at 10.30 am on Thursday for a two-day campaigning schedule for the Bijepur by-polls to be held on October 21.
Naveen Patnaik, in his fifth successful term as the Chief Minister of Odisha, is one of the star campaigners of his party. Travelling in his hi-tech bus, he will be addressing a number of wayside gathering on his way to Barpali where he is scheduled to address public at different Chowks, as per the CM’s official itinerary. The day one will end with an overnight halt at Bargarh PWD IB.
The 74-year-old BJD chief will address wayside gatherings at Kurkuta, Patharla, Badbausen, Saipali, Kharmunda, T. Gandpali, Charpali, Kalangapali, Gundimunda, Bijepur, Sarnapali, Bandhapali, Gopepali Chowk, and Bargaon Chowk in Bijepur constituency as part of his campaign scheduled for day one.
At one such gathering, he started with his trademark ‘Apana mane khusi ta?’ The main man behind BJD’s clean sweep victories – Naveen Patnaik requested the people of Bijepur to continue to provide their love and support to his party and requested them to vote for BJD’s Bijepur MLA candidate Rita Sahu.
