Bhubaneswar: As the leaders from different pockets of the State wrestle to clinch a ticket for the upcoming Assembly elections, a long queue of politicians at the Naveen Nivas has become an everyday affair.

Political pundits say that with Naveen Patnaik at the helm of the affairss, the a BJD ticket for elections 2019 is certainly a prized possession. However, the party supremo has already announced that 'winnability' would be the deciding factor in ticket distribution.

In this race, today Observers of different regions of Odisha met the Chief Minister and submitted their assessment. Maheswar Mohanty (Berhmapur), Susant Singh (Titlagarh and Bolangir) and BJD veteran Surya Narayan Patro were present.

“We have furnished the information before our party president and he will take a call on ticket distribution,” the leaders said. This meeting is slated to be crucial as the names of BJD candidates would be announced soon, said sources.
