BJP Activists Vandalise Official Residence Premises Of Odisha CM’s Private Secretary

**Bhubaneswar: ** A horde of irate activists holding BJP party flags swooped down on the official residence of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s private secretary V.K. Pandian and ran amok amid sloganeerings.

Flower pots and vehicles parked at the official residence were ransacked allegedly by the BJP supporters in the capital city here on Saturday pre-noon hours, as alleged by the security personnel in his media reactions.

They even smeared cowdung on the main gate as well as in the premises of the government quarter.

The security personnel even informed that there were over 340 BJP workers. They even smashed glass panes.

Being informed, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner Y.B. Khurania and Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi along with senior police officials rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation immediately.

In his media reactions, the Police Commissioner said that such act is unpardonable and the guilty will not be spared at any cost.

Both the IAS Officers’ Association and OAS Officers’ Association have condemned the incident and demanded stringent actions against the perpetrators of such a crime.

In the latest development, four BJP workers have been arrested by the Commissionerate Police in this connection.

They were later forwarded to the SDJM Court that rejected their bail pleas and went remanded to judicial custody.
