Bhubaneswar: The BJP legislative party meeting held today finalised the party’s strategy for the upcoming Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. Minister Mukesh Mahaling stated that the party will highlight the government’s achievements and growing public support over the last 17 months.
The BJP is confident in addressing every question raised by the opposition during the session. The Winter Session, starting tomorrow, will see President Droupadi Murmu addressing the House for the first time as President. The Finance Minister and Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will present the first supplementary budget on November 28.
The Business Advisory Committee will decide on bills to be taken up and the discussion duration. The session will continue till December 31, with arrangements made for President Murmu’s interactions with former ministers and leaders
