**Bhubaneswar**: The State unit of the BJP on Sunday staged a demonstration here at Master Canteen demanding immediate sacking of Sam Pitroda from the post of Technical Advisor to the State Government for his alleged involvement in the National Herald property grabbing case.
Samir Mohanty, Vice-President of BJP’s Odisha unit, said, there is an ‘unholy nexus’ between the BJD and Congress and Sam Pitroda is only strengthening the ties.
“Sam Pitroda was involved in National Herald case and he is on bail. Naveen Patnaik is trying to forge a deal with Congress with help of Ptroda,” said Mohanty.
Reacting on BJP’s allegations, BJD spokesperson Dibyasankar Mishra said BJP should wait for court verdict on the case.
Meanwhile, State unit of Congress said Pitroda has all the qualifications to become a tech adviser to the State.
“BJP’s protest over the case is laughable. Pitroda is an Odia and totally fit for the post he is holding now.” Congress leader Sarat Rout claimed.
