Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Parshuram Dhada as its new candidate from the Soro assembly constituency.
Parshuram replaced Rajendra Das who was previously the face of the BJP from Soro assembly seat, Balasore.
The two-time MLA Parshuram was elected from the Soro Assembly seat in 2014 and 2019 on a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) ticket.
However, he cut ties with BJD after the party replaced him and went for Madhab Dhada as its new face from Soro.
Madhab who served as the Chairperson of Soro Municipality joined BJD after quitting the BJP party.
