BJP Observes Bandh In Jharsuguda, Gajapati Seeking Minister’s Removal

Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in continuation of its protest demanding the removal of MoS (Home) Dibya Shankar Mishra over the Mamita Meher murder case is observing bandh in Jharsuguda and Gajapati districts today.

An 8-hour bandh (6 AM-2 PM) is being observed by the saffron party in Jharsuguda while a 12-hour bandh (6 AM-6 PM) is being observed in Gajapati demanding the removal of Minister and CBI inquiry into the case.

Normal life has been affected with all shops, markets, and government offices closed in both districts. BJP leaders and activists have also blocked major roads affecting vehicular communication.
