Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released the first list of its candidates for the Odisha Assembly elections 2024. Altogether 112 nominees have been selected in the first list.
As per the list, senior BJP leader Suresh Pujari will contest from Brajarajnagar Assembly seat, whileTankadhar Tripathy will fight the Assembly polls from Jharsuguda. Others are Kusum Tete (Sundargarh), Jayanarayan Mishra (Sambalpur), Biswaranjan Badajena (Jatani), actor-turned-politician Akash Dasnayak (Korei), Priyadarshi Mishra (Bhubaneswar North), Jagannath Pradhan (Bhubaneswar Central), Arabinda Dhali (Jayadev), Babu Singh (Bhubaneswar Ekamra), and Prithiviraj Harichandan (Chilika).
