Bhubaneswar: National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Baijayant Panda underwent a surgery on his left eye on Friday.
“The surgery was successful. He is currently under medical observation. Our prayers to Prabhu Baladev Ju for his speedy recovery and return to the campaign. With his blessings he will soon be fine”, this was stated by the office of Panda who is BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate for Kendrapara.
It is learnt from the office of Panda that due to the surgery, Panda will not be able to take part in the campaign for the 2024 elections. He will be under medical observation for some days.
“Due to an unanticipated & sudden medical complication a few days ago, Shri Baijayant Panda had to postpone his campaign events. Today, he has undergone eye surgery and is currently under medical observation”. This is posted in the X handle of office of office of Jay Panda.
It is pertinent to mention that Panda has been campaigning in various parts of his parliamentary constituency for the last several days.
