Bhubaneswar: The Judicial Magistrate of First Class court (JMFC) in Bhubaneswar has granted permission to Archana Nag, the prime accused in the blackmailing and extortion case, to apply for the integrated law semester examination.
According to reports, Archana Nag, who is currently lodged in Jharpada Jail here, aspires to be a lawyer and she had moved to court seeking permission to apply for the integrated law semester examination. She will now appear for the exam as per the jail manual.
Archana Nag is a fourth-year student at Capital Law College and will now fill out the form for the exam with the fine date.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has submitted a 2241-page chargesheet in Bhubaneswar Sessions Court mentioning that Archana along with her accomplice Shradhanjali blackmailed film producer Akshay Parija and a Nayagarh-based political leader and businessman.
