Blue Whale Shark Spotted On Sunapur Beach, Returns To Sea With Help Of Fishermen

Bhubaneswar: In a rare and astonishing sight, a 15-foot injured Blue Whale Shark was spotted on the shores of Sunapur Beach in Ganjam district on Monday. The massive marine creature, which was washed ashore around 11 am, attracted a large crowd of locals and tourists who gathered to catch a glimpse of the giant shark.

As per reports, the fishermen residing near Sonapur beach spotted the shark on the seashore.  The rare sighting has sparked curiosity and interest among the local community and tourists alike.

As the news spread, people rushed to the spot to have a glimpse of the giant marine creature.  Thanks to fishermen, the giant shark, which had got stuck on the beach, swam back into the sea on Monday.

The cause of the shark’s injuries is currently unknown.
