Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS) has bagged the Gold Category Award at 24th National Conference on e-Governance. Union Minister of Personnel, Jitendra Singh presented the award to Sanjeev Chopra, Additional Chief Secretary.
Among others, Prafulla Mallik, CEO, ORSAC, Prem Chandra Chaudhury, CEO, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya and Sushanta Kumar Mohanty, Director of Estates were present at the ceremony
BLUIS is a 5T project implemented by General Administration & Public Grievance Department in collaboration with BDA, BMC and ORSAC. BLUIS was launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on July 8, 2020.
“The project uses cutting edge technology including satellite imagery and Artificial Intelligence to safeguard precious Government land in the Capital City. BLUIS competed with 89 high-tech projects of Central and State Government agencies to emerge victorious,” the State Government informed.
While complementing the Department and ORSAC for the accomplishment, Chief Secretary Suresh Chnadra Mahapatra advised to have more of the innovative technological applications for supporting the quick and informed decision making.
