Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday approved an outlay of Rs 690.02 crore in its annual budget for 2023-24.
The approval was made during the Corporation meeting chaired by Mayor Sulochana Das. Out of the approved outlay, 42.20% (Rs 289.92 crore) has been earmarked for revenue expenditure.
On the other hand, 57.98% (Rs 400.10 crore) of the outlay has been allocated for capital expenditure.
For the year, 2023-24, the BMC targets a total income of Rs 708.54 crore, which includes property tax, land tax, trade license, kalyan madap, cess pool, NOC, building plan, parking, and community centre etc.
