Bhubaneswar: Following detection of several Covid-19 positive cases in 10 flats of an apartment in Forest Park area under Ward No. 52 of Bhubaneswar, the affected area has been declared as a containment zone.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed that several positive cases have been detected in Flat No A-502, A-507, A-512, B-013, B-017, B-018, B-220, B-222, B-144, and B-319 of Rajendra Vihar Apartment in Forest Park, Ward No 52.
In order to contain further spread of Covid-19, the BMC on Tuesday declared the affected area as a containment zone and restrict the public from entering into and going out of the containment zone.
People have been directed to implement the following direction.
A. No public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and the inhabitants within the containment zone shall not move out.
B. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately.
C. All the Government and private institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone is hereby closed forthwith.
D. BMC will supply essentials and ensure medical requirements for the inhabitant in the containment zones.
