Dhenkanal: The dead body of a headmistress was recovered from a locked room in front of her in-laws’ house at Guneibili village under Tumusinga police station in Dhenkanal district today.
The deceased has been identified as Parvati Dehuri. Although the cause of Parvati’s death remains unclear, local police have initiated an investigation.
Parvati was the headmistress of Panchashakha Government High School in Tumusinga village. Her husband, Swami Satyananda Padhan, had passed away two years ago.
The family raised suspicion over the death of the teacher claiming it was a murder.
Police are investigating the matter to find out the exact reason.
