Cuttack: The body of a woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Trinath Basti under Jagatpur Industrial Estate in Cuttack on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Kabita Behera.
It is suspected that Kabita has been murdered by her husband Karunakar Mahalik. She had married Karunakar recently after the death of her first husband. The suspect Karunakar went missing after the incident.
Locals informed that Kabita and her husband Karunakar used to quarrel over petty issues. The couple also fought on Tuesday night. Kabita’s body was recovered from the temporary shop which she had set up to eke out a living.
