Bolangir: A Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies (DRCS) was injured when a section of the false ceiling of the roof fell on her while she and others were attending a meeting at the office of the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) around noon here today.
Luckily the DRCS has escaped with a minor injury on her head.
Another official of the Agriculture Department also sustained injuries in the incident.
According to reports, a chunk of the building’s roof fell on the false ceiling following which a section of the false ceiling collapsed on the officer.
A video of the incident was captured on CCTV camera.
