Bolangir: Police seized 1200 bottles of cough syrup and arrested three persons in this connection in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Sunday. They also seized a Bolero transporting the cough syrup bottles from Cuttack and a motorbike. All the three arrested accused are from Barpalipada in Bolangir district.
According to reports, the illegal consignment of cough syrup was coming from Cuttack to Balangir in a bolero. Escorting Bolero on an Apache bike was a coffee shop merchant.
Acting on a tip-off, Bolangir Town police chased and intercepted the Bolero in a Hindi movie style and arrested the youths. The owner of a local coffee shop who was escorting the Bolero was also arrested.
