Bhubaneswar: Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor and actor Arjun Kapoor on Wednesday called on Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the latter’s chamber in the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Boney Kapoor invited the Chief Minister to attend at the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League to be held in Odisha as the chief guest.
Kapoor said that Odisha has vast natural beauty and adequate facilities for film shooting. If these are promoted, Odisha will become a preferred destination for many filmmakers. He also stated that this would boost tourism in the state.
During this meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, members of the Council of Ministers, and MLAs were also present.
