Nayagarh: A youth was killed and at least two injured after a bomb exploded in Badasa village under Khandapada police limits on Wednesday evening. Local police rushed to the spot and has started investigation.
The deceased was identified as Prasant Tarenia. The injured persons have been shifted to Khandapada community health centre. The incident was allegedly the outcome of a political rivalry, said sources.
A case has been registered in this connection and manhunt launched to nab the accused. People of Badasa village are going to cast their votes for Panchayat polls on Thursday. Violence, just a day before polls has spread terror in the region.
