Dhenkanal: Two unidentified miscreants hurled a bomb at the residence of a builder in Khamar Sahi, Dhenkanal district, on Sunday.
According to reports, two unknown bike-borne individuals threw a country bomb at the residence of Sushant Kumar Sahu, a builder based in the Dhenkanal district.
The incident occurred after the builder received a threatening phone call from an anonymous caller.
Though no family members were injured, the bomb explosion partially damaged the main entrance gate of Sahu’s residence. As per CCTV footage, the miscreants fled the scene immediately after hurling the bomb.
The town police on being informed about the incident, have reached the crime scene and started an investigation. CCTV camera footage is being thoroughly checked for more information.
The exact reason behind the bombing is yet to be ascertained.
