Bomb Hurling On MLA’s Car: Keonjhar Police To Release Photo Of Accused, Informant To Be Rewarded

Keonjhar: The district police will release the photo of the accused in the case of bomb hurling on MLA Mohan Majhi’s car. Superintendent of Police Mitrabhanu Mahapatra today said the photos have been secured from the CCTV footage and the same will be made public.

“Anyone who gives us information about the accused will be rewarded. We are exploring the legalities for sharing the photographs of the accused in public domain,” he said.

Mahapatra requested the MLA withdraw from the strike and give the police some more time to nab the accused. “There will be a thorough investigation. We have setup three teams, one of which is in Jharkhand for tracing the accused,” the SP added.

Keonjhar police have registered a case under Arms Act and Explosives Substances Act in this case which occurred on Sunday. The MLA escaped unhurt as unidentified miscreants hurled crude bombs at his car.
