Nayagarh: Employees of a petrol pump escaped unhurt after some miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the filling station in Singapada under Khandapada police limits of Nayagarh district on Thursday night.
Reportedly, minutes after a commotion over the fuel reading at the Indian Oil Petrol Pump at Singapada, the miscreants arrived at the spot and hurled petrol bomb. As a result, one fuel dispense machine at the filling station caught fire.
On getting information, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Khandapada Police Station IIC Biswajit Routray with his staff also reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident. Police have recovered CCTV footage of the incident.
