Bomikhal Flyover Collapse Case: Panda Infra Chief Gets Relief From High Court
**Cuttack:** As a sigh of relief, the Orissa High Court has directed the lower court to consider the bail plea of the Panda Infra Project Director and decide on the conditions of the bail. Notably, one person was killed and at least 15 others injured on September 10 when a portion of an under-construction flyover collapsed in Bhubaneswar. Panda Infra was constructing the Bomikhal flyover, part of which collapsed on that fateful Sunday killing one person and injuring 20 others.
Deputy Executive Engineer in the Works Department, Bansidhar Praharaj, was the first to be arrested in connection with the incident.
Later, Pratap Panda,one of the directors, was arrested after he surrendered at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
A case was registered against Praharaj, Panda, Assistant Engineer Kishore Rout and two other directors of Panda Infra Projects following the mishap.
