Balasore: In a bizarre incident, a groom fell unconscious after the bride he was supposed to marry left him high and dry at the wedding altar expressing her unwillingness to marry him.
The incident occurred at Remu village under Baliapal police limits in Balasore district. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms.
In the video, the bride is seen removing her bangles and is heard claiming that she is already married and has a husband and the marriage was being solemnised forcibly against her will.
While family members are seen slapping the bride forcing her to sit, the groom who appears to be puzzled and shocked is seen slipping into unconsciousness.
