Berhampur: Police arrested a woman and her two sons for allegedly trading brown sugar at Raghupati Nagar under Bada Bazar police station in the city today.
Police also seized 8.480 grams of brown sugar, Rs 8,900 cash, and three mobile phones from their possession.
Puja Pradhan and her two sons Vikas and Akash have been trading contraband items in the city. The trio used to sell brown sugar at Rs 500 per packet to the youths of the city.
Police said they had been running the illegal business for the last two months.
They have been forwarded to court, police said.
