Bhubaneswar: A BSF personnel allegedly thrashed an on-duty traffic constable following a dispute over vehicle parking at VSS Nagar in Odisha’s capital, on Sunday.
A video of the incident has gone viral on various social media platforms.
According to reports, when Sangram Biswal, who is an Assistant Commandant in the BSF, was buying mutton after parking his vehicle on the road traffic constable Manoj Behera intervened and asked him to park his somewhere else. A verbal dual ensued and Biswal started thrashing the traffic cop.
Behera sustained injuries and was admitted to the Capital Hospital here for treatment following interrogation at the police station.
Meanwhile, the Saheed Nagar police have detained the accused for questioning.
