Koraput: Security personnel busted a Naxal arms workshop in the jungle near Alasi village under Sunki police limits in Koraput district on Sunday.
According to an official press release, a country-made gun, a mobile phone with SIM, two knives, a hand blower, a trigger mechanism, two pliers, two hammers, a hacksaw, sodium barocide 30 gm, iron bits, etc have been seized by the BSF Anti-Naxalite Deployment Party (ADP).
the ADP while patrolling near Alasi village on Sunday encountered two suspicious-looking individuals in the jungle. The suspicious-looking persons on noticing the BSF ADP fled towards Andhra border. The security forces conducted an extensive search of the area leading to the unearthing of the Naxal arms workshop and the aforementioned seizures.
An FIR has been lodged at Sunki police station in this connection.
The BSF-ADP has handed over the seized items to Sunki police station.
