Burglars Decamp With Gold, Silver, Cash, & Bike In Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants looted gold, silver, cash, and a motorcycle from a residence in Bakutagam village under Khallikote police limits in Ganjam district late Wednesday night.

The victim has been identified as Bula Palei.

According to reports, Bula Palei and his family were away attending a village fair when the burglary took place. Taking advantage of their absence, the burglars allegedly broke open the main door and gained entry into the house.

Palei alleged that the burglars stole 20 grams of gold, 50 grams of silver, a Unicorn motorcycle, and Rs 12,000 in cash. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to run into lakhs of rupees.

On receiving the information, Khallikote police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
