Burglars Decamp With Jewellery In Odisha's Rayagada

Rayagada: Jewellery amounting to lakhs of rupees has been stolen from a house at Indra Nagar in Rayagada, informed police on Wednesday.

As per a police complaint, burglars have decamped with around 450 gm gold and 2 kg silver from the house of PWD Assistant Engineer Manoj Patra.

Reportedly, Patra and his family had gone to Berhampur on Saturday and had returned home last night when he discovered the loot. Following it family members informed the police.

After registering a case, police along with scientific team and dog squad rushed to the spot and initiated a probe. Meanwhile, a suspect has been detained and subjected to interrogation.
