Bus Carrying OISF Personnel Meets With Road Mishap In Keonjhar; 19 Hurt

Bhubaneswar: As many as 19 Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) personnel were injured as the bus they were travelling in met with a road accident near Tadua Bahal under Champua tehsil in Keonjhar district on Friday morning.

According to reports, the bus was carrying 22 personnel. The injured personnel were provided medical treatment, with six of them receiving primary care at Basudevpur Community Health Centre. The remaining 13 injured personnel were treated at Champua Sub-Divisional Hospital.

The bus, traveling from Jalaput to Keonjhar, was hit from behind by a speeding truck, causing the driver to lose control. The bus then collided with another truck moving ahead on the highway, said sources.

Till the last report came in, all the injured OISF personnel were discharged after treatment.

According to district administration, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported in the accident.
