Bus Overturns In Keonjhar, 15 Injured

Bhubaneswar: At least 15 persons were injured on Tuesday when a bus in which they were travelling overturned on the Tarmakanta-Tentulikhunti road under Banspal block in Keonjhar district.

According to reports, a private bus-Radhamadhab which was on its way to Pallahara from Phuljhar overturned near Tarmakanta after the driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control over the wheel.  At least 15 passengers of the bus sustained injuries.

The injured have been admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Banspal. The passengers who were trapped inside the bus following the accident were rescued by Fire Service personnel.

On being informed local police have reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the matter.
