Bus Overturns On Taptapani Ghat In Ganjam, 43 Injured

Bhubaneswar: At least 43 persons were injured when a bus overturned today evening near Palakhola on Taptapani Ghat under Patapur police station limits in Ganjam district.

According to reports, Sanakhemundi Fire Station staff rescued all 43 injured persons from the overturned bus.

All the injured persons have been shifted to Digapahandi Hospital and are undergoing treatment.

The ill-fated bus bearing registration number plate of neighbouring Chhattisgarh state was on its way to Puri when it met with an accident on Taptapani Ghat road as the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheel.

Following the accident, several vehicles remained stranded on both directions of the road.
