Bus-Truck Collision Leaves Six Injured In Sundargarh

Sundargarh: As many as six persons sustained injuries when the bus they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck near Kenbhata under Banai police limits in Sundargarh district on late Wednesday night.

According to sources, the bus named Sriram Jee was on its way to Rourkela from Balasore when it collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the mishap, the bus driver reportedly fled the scene.

Police, meanwhile, seized both the vehicles and are investigating the matter.
