Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today cleared a proposal for construction of 237 numbers of 100-seated Boys’ Hostel for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas.
The financial implication for construction of the 237 boys’ hostels will be Rs 1000.14 crore, said an official press release.
The rough cost estimate of each hostel will be to the tune of Rs 4.22 crore, the release added.
The building will be of G+2 nature with all facilities ensuring comfortable stay and learning environment of students inside the campus, the release said.
The plinth area of the Boys Hostel is approximately 6800 sqft and the floor area for 1st floor and 2nd floor area is 6300sqft and 4860 sqft respectively.
The current proposal will ensure quality learning infrastructure for achieving academic excellence, the release added.
