Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening and interacted with patients and hospital staff.
Also, CM sought first-hand information about the quality of food, accommodation, care, amenities and other facilities being provided to patients and attendants at the hospital. The CM also inspected the hospital’s sanitation facilities.
During his visit, CM Majhi said that the hospital would be further modernized to provide better facilities to patients. He also advised doctors and staff to be more sensitive towards patients and work towards providing better healthcare services.
Moreover, the CM also met temporary hospital staff and inquired about their wages. He assured them that they would receive an increased salary after the new wage hike.
Calling it a noble profession, Majhi praised the hospital employees for their dedicated service towards patients.
Capital Hospital Director Dilip Kumar Panda among other hospital officers was present during his visit.
