Bhubaneswar: The State Government has taken number of measures to boost investment environment and attract foreign investment, said Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Energy, Industries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra at a workshop held in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Addressing the participants on the above context, Mishra highlighted how Odisha has successfully conducted ‘Make In Odisha’ and ‘Investment Meet’ events to attract investments in the State.
During the workshop discussion were held on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a $5 trillion economy and a global economic powerhouse by 2024-25, on various reformative measures to boost investments in different sectors and to introduce single window system at National-level.
Mishra also interacted with ministers coming from different states to participate in ‘Make In India’. State commissioner and secretary for industries, micro and small and medium industries Hemant Sharma also presented views on the measures taken by Odisha government on investment sector.
