Dhenkanal: At least 10 bovine animals were killed after a cattle-laden mini-truck overturned at a gorge near Hindol on Hindol-Narasinghpur road in Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
The accident occurred near Hindol road in Dhenkanal in the early morning when the driver lost control over the wheel. The vehicle skidded off the road and overturned.
The driver and the helper were trapped in the vehicle.
The vehicle carrying around 20 cattle was heading towards Hindol from Narasinghpur district.
A fire brigade unit from Hindol reached the spot and launched rescue operation.
