**Bhubaneswar:** The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids at nine places across the country, including three in Odisha, where chit fund firm Shastra was running its business.
According to reports, the CBI searched the three premises in Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak and Baripada in the state.
Besides, the probe agency also conducted raids in Chennai, Tripura and Madurai where the dubious chit fund firm had duped gullible investors in the name of higher returns through its different schemes.
