Bhubaneswar: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas run by the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has recorded 98.12 percent results in the 10th Board exams this year.
Out of 9558 students who appeared Std 10 exams under CBSE board in the Adarsha Vidyalayas, total 9378 have passed.
As many as 89 students have scored above 95% marks while 586 students have scored more than 90%, a press note released by the OAVS stated.
Among the top 10 students, Amrit Raj Biswal of Salapada Adarsha Vidyalaya in Anandpur, Keonjhar scored the highest 99.40 marks.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash has congratulated OAVS, the schools, teachers, students and their parents for the record performance of Adarsha Vidyalayas.
