Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the much awaited Class 12 Result 2019 on Thursday. Uttar Pradesh girls Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have topped the CBSE Class 12 exams scoring 499 marks each, informed CBSE chairman Anita Karwal.
On the other hand, Trivandrum has topped among districts in the CBSE Class 12th results with a pass percentage of 98.2%. In Chennai region, the pass percentage is 92.93% and in Delhi region the pass percentage is 91.87%.
The overall pass percentage for the Class 12 CBSE board exams 2019 stands at 83.4 percent, slightly higher than the 83.01 percent registered last year. The CBSE officials also informed that girls and transgenders have performed better than boys:
