Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday announced the results of the Secondary School Examination (Class X) for all streams, recording an overall pass percentage of 93.66%.
As per the official data released by the board, a total of 23,71,939 students appeared for the exam this year, of whom 22,21,636 have passed.
Continuing the trend of recent years, girls have outperformed boys yet again. While the pass percentage for girls stood at 95.00%, that for boys was recorded at 92.63%.
Among the regions, Trivandrum and Vijayawada emerged as the top performers, both registering a pass percentage of 99.79%. They were followed closely by Bengaluru (98.90%) and Chennai (98.71%).
Bhubaneswar also featured in the list of top-performing regions, securing a position in the top 12 with a pass rate of 92.64%. Guwahati, on the other hand, stood at the 17th position with a pass percentage of 84.14%.
