**Kendrapada: ** Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Friday caught two policemen of the Sadar Police Station (PS) in the district here basing on the CCTV footage installed in the police station while taking bribe from a villager.
The two accused have been identified as Sadar PS IIC Nilakantha Patra and Havildar Debendra Prasad Nayak.
According to the Vigilance sources, Rs 10,000 had been demanded from one Chinmoy Kar to grant bail under Section 41 CrPC.
Kar hails from Bhagwanpur village under the Sadar PS limits.
Actually he had allegedly been demanded Rs 10,000 and accordingly he had earlier coughed up Rs 5,000 and the second instalment of Rs 5,000 was paid when the two allegedly corrupt police officials fell into Vigilance net basing on the complaint and later scanning of the CCTV footage.
