Bhubaneswar: After the power outage during President Droupadi Murmu’s address at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district at the varsity’s 12th convocation, a pharmacist violated the official protocol during the President’s visit to Odisha has come to the light now.
Senior district administration officials said that the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Mayurbhanj, Rupabhanu Mishra suspended the pharmacist.
According to reports, the pharmacist deployed on the President’s duty took photographs of the Air Force helicopter engaged for the President’s visit and parked at a helipad near Jashipur, which became viral in no time.
The pharmacist was scheduled to be present on the spot but not engage in such activities. This was considered a dereliction of duty on the part of the pharmacist.
The photographs were taken on the second day of the President’s visit to Odisha on Friday when the President went to Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj.
