Bhubaneswar: Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday on a three-day official tour from December 27 to 29. “Jay Jagannath. I have come here with my family for an official visit. First, I will have darshan of Lord Jagannath with my family before proceeding to my official work,” he told reporters.
The CEC will visit Puri to offer prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple, followed by a visit to the Konark Sun Temple. He will also visit Khandagiri, Udaygiri, and other tourist sites in Bhubaneswar.
On December 28, he will visit Heritage Village Raghurajpur, famous for Pattachitra paintings, and the Dhauli Shanti Stupa. On December 29, the CEC will preside over a meeting with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar, and address the gathering before departing for the day.
