Bhubaneswar: Odisha cadre IAS officer Shalini Pandit has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services in the central government.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
She will remain in the position for a period of five years or until further orders, the notification stated.
“Appointment of Shalini Pandit, IAS, as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” the notification read.
Pandit is currently serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of School and Mass Education of the Odisha Government.
