Bhubaneswar: The Central government has approved two new Special Railway Projects for Odisha.
The Ministry of Railways (East Coast Railway-Construction) issued a notification in The Gazette of India-Extraordinary on May 18 in this regard
The approved Special Railway Projects are a new broad gauge railway line between Talcher and Angul with a ‘Y’ connection at Talcher and a new broad gauge railway line from Bargarh Road to Nawapara Road.
The new railway lines between Talcher and Angul and from Bargarh to Nawapara Road which are under East Coast Railway have a length of 16.50 KM and 142 KM respectively.
