Bhubaneswar: Devotees can have a hassle-free darshan of the deities during Snana Yatra this year on June 14. At the Chatisa Nijog meeting held in Puri on Wednesday, it was decided that there will be Parimanik (paid) darshan, this year, with which devotees can witness the deities when they would be seated on the Snana Mandap (bathing altar). This darshan would be during the Hati Besha of the Trinity.
The darshan will continue for at least three to four hours, so that all the devotees get a chance for darshan. “A large number of devotees are expected to flock Puri this year as the rituals were held amid COVID restrictions during last two years. So, our attention will be towards smooth conduct of the festival and facilitating hassle-free darshan,” said Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Vir Vikram yadav.
The Servitors and officials were advised to ensure the conduct of ‘Nitis’ on time. Among others, Collector Samarth Verma, SP Kanwar Vishal Singh, SJTA officials and members of Chhatisha Nijog took part in the meeting which followed the Niti Sub Committee meeting at Niladri Bhakta Nivas at Puri today.
