Bhawanipatna: A youth from Chhattisgarh succumbed to his injuries sustained when a speeding car hit him in the Ampani area of Odisha’s Kalahandi district.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Ramesh Thakur (32) from Dharani Bahal village under Devog police limits in Chhattisgarh, had gone to work in Andhra Pradesh. While returning home on Thursday, he got down from the bus and was resting on the roadside in Ampani when a speeding car hit him.

Locals rushed Ramesh to the Koksara Community Health Center where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Friday.
